Gerard Black BCL Solicitor

Gerard qualified in 1964. He has practiced as a Solicitor since then. Initially he practiced with his father the later JP Black Solicitor of Clones, Co. Monaghan and then with McMahon and Tweedy Solicitors Dublin and Orpen Solicitors Dublin. He established Black & Company in 1967. Gerard is a trusted advisor to many clients in relation to their business and family matters.

In particular, he has vast experience in both Commercial and Residential Conveyancing, Probate and Landlord and Tenant and is an acknowledged expert in these fields.

John Black BE DLS Solicitor

John qualified in 1999 as a solicitor. He also holds a Diploma in Legal Studies. John is also qualified to practice as a Solicitor in England and Wales. John also holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from UCD.

John is a Partner in the firm and has a wide range of experience. He specialises in Property law, Dispute Resolution, Probate and Litigation. John has vast experience in representing his private clients and also acts for a number of commercial clients in relation to Commercial transactions and Litigation providing general advice relation to all aspects. He has extensive experience in the High Court and Commercial Court on a wide range of matters. John is also qualified to practice as a Solicitor in England and Wales.

John’s expertise lies in building up relationships with clients, Managing expectations, Accessibility, Negotiating, Problem Solving and bringing matters to a successful conclusion in as efficient a manner as possible.

John has many contacts who he can bring in to advise whether Legal Counsel, Engineering contacts or Financial Advisors to bring further value to clients.
